Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

Immerse yourself
in a new luxury

a mediterranean dream

Built over a century ago, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo has made its own private and discreet way, from the sea that gave it birth to its sumptuous new jacuzzi suites. If you wish to experience it, read more.

h for history

Cradle of civilization, home of Homeric stories, the Mediterranean gave birth to a strong personality, Latin by essence, chic by spirit, original by all means.

Hotel Hermitage was born back in 1900

Hotel Hermitage was born back in 1900, under the reign of HSH Prince Albert I, renowned and recognized as a scholar and navigator. After 20 years of sailing the sea, he ordered construction of the Oceanographic Museum in 1889. A war hero, member of the Geographic Society and the British Academy, he was a pacifist and a pioneer in protecting both nature and humankind.

Thermes Valentia

Soon after Hôtel Hermitage opened, seawater baths and therapy became all the rage in Monaco. Mild climate, calm sea and the composition of Mediterranean water all helped kick-start a new form of travel that became popular worldwide in the course of the 20th century. Thermes Valentia, the ancestor of the modern spa, was just a stone’s throw from Hôtel Hermitage.

Flyover by early aircraft

At the same time, the Bay of Monaco witnessed new records and sporting achievements. Flyover by early aircraft, first motorboat races, display of the most advanced technologies by a unique mix of sportspersons, daredevils and wealthy patrons in search of thrills and panache. Needless to say , guests at Hôtel Hermitage were in the front row.

A giant leap in time and memory

A giant leap in time and memory, the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo reopened a few months ago after complete renovation. 7,000m2 of cutting-edge health-oriented technology, relaxing atmosphere, luxury services, attention and privacy, the Thermes Marins set a new standard for the well-being industry, especially for Hotel Hermitage guests, since it is none other than the hotel spa, just a corridor away from each of its 278 rooms.

Overlooking the Port of Monaco

If you want to understand Hôtel Hermitage, just consider its location. Overlooking the Port of Monaco, with stunning views of the sea, anyone can experience the understated charm and elegant mood prevailing here... like a breeeze blowing from Martha’s Vineyard all the way to this sunny side of the world.

Le Vistamar, star of the sea

Le Vistamar, star of the sea

Joël Garault loves the Mediterranean and it shows. His cuisine and his work for Le Vistamar, the Hôtel Hermitage restaurant, truly deserves its Michelin star. Daily catch every morning from beneath the waves.

Jacuzzi suites, sparkling sea

Jacuzzi suites, sparkling sea

Perhaps the most sought-after, not-to-be-missed experience at Hôtel Hermitage: the amazing Jacuzzi suites, with luxury worthy of a palace and as sparkling as the sea.

Thermes Marins, rejuvenating water

Thermes Marins, rejuvenating water

Beyond technology, state-of-the-art treatments, professional beauty and body care, the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo are purely and simply a Fountain of Youth.
